Kelly Kienzle

Kelly Kienzle, founder of Open Circle Coaching, provides leadership coaching and consulting services to emerging and growing leaders who wish to strengthen their self-awareness and vision-setting skills. By strengthening awareness and perspective, a leader can open the circle and see scenarios from a new perspective that uncovers the possibility for greater productivity, creativity and overall happiness. Kelly works with clients across industries and leadership levels utilizing a variety of tools, assessment tests and development models.

Kelly is a graduate of Georgetown University’s Leadership Coaching program where she studied in the fields of adult development, organization development, sociology, somatics, behavioral science and linguistics.   She has received training in managing team dynamics, administering and synthesizing results from 360-degree interviews, and is experienced in various communication and assessment tools.  Kelly is a member of the Society for Human Resources and Management and a member of the International Coach Federation.  Kelly earned a B.A. in English from James Madison University in 1992.

Scott Kimbell has 20 years of hands-on experience working in the Healthcare market with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Sheild.  During his tenure, Scott played vital roles in Business Development with leadership positions in Medicare Secondary Payor (MSP), Customer Service and Program Management.  While serving as Vice President of Program Management, Scott led the capture, bid, transition and execution for the Jurisdiction 13 and later Jurisdiction K programs for CMS.  During the final contract year for Jurisdiction 13, his team received the highest CPAR (Contractor Performance Assessment Report) among all other AB government contracts.  Within these programs, Scott was responsible for all Claims, Customer Service, Medical Review, Appeals, Audit and Reimbursement and EDI.  Scott brings a wealth of experience in government relations, associate and executive leadership, budget, planning, process improvement and customer service.

Scott has a bachelor’s degree in Arts from the University of Louisville. His wife of 21 years, Elizabeth, is a professor at UofL.  Scott and Elizabeth have two high school sons active in wrestling, football and powerlifting

Katie Gaughan

Katie Gaughan collaborates with leaders and organizations to overcome challenges and achieve objectives through executive coaching, leadership development, and team alignment programs. She brings a unique combination of business savvy, leadership expertise, professional coaching skills, and contagious enthusiasm to her work.

Katie has a strong track record of success in leading, developing and empowering individuals to new levels of productivity and performance. During her corporate career, Katie held a variety of management and executive positions for companies ranging from innovative technology start-up to traditional manufacturing operation to multi-billion dollar global corporations.

Katie is president of the Ohio Valley regional chapter of the International Coach Federation and founder of Louisville Coaches CONNECT. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Ball State University, has taken graduate level courses at Kellogg School of Management, has received extensive coaching training through Corporate Coach University and The Coaches Training Institute, and was selected as a Leadership Louisville Bingham Fellow in 2009.

Rob McKinnon

Rob writes and speaks on Leadership, and is a Coach and Advisor to CEOs and their executive teams. He focuses on helping leaders improve their effectiveness and, ultimately, the bottom-line growth in their companies. Rob is passionate about his work.

Rob knows first-hand the challenges facing leaders at the top. He led companies in a variety of industries – financial services, banking, commercial construction, technology, entertainment, biotech — for nearly 20 years. He has shepherded organizations through start-up, turned around troubled companies, and infused new vision into established, mature businesses. Having “seen it all,” Rob draws on his experience to help leaders craft tools and solutions unique to their personal style of leadership.

After receiving a degree in Business from Wheaton College, Rob served four years as an Army Armor officer, leading combat-ready forces in Europe. He earned an MBA from the Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, and has completed postgraduate studies in Leadership Coaching at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.  Rob is a recipient of the Professional Coaching Certification (PCC) from the International Coaching Federation.
